Be it ordained by the General Council of the City of PaducKY•
Sec. 1. T11 -at Meyers street from the South end of the Island Creek
bridge to thecity limits in the city of Paducah, Kentucky, shall be
hereafter known and called, officially, ar_d is hereby chan„ed to South
Fourth street.

Be it ordained by the General Council of the city of Paducah, Kentucky.
Sec. 1. TI-Iat from and after the passage, approval and publication of this or—
dinance, it shall be the duty of all persons desiring or contemplating opening,
breaking or excavating in any street, alley, sidewalk, wharf or other plibl_ic xray
of the city of Paducah, Kentucky,-- to file a written application_ with the City
En�•inner df the City of Paducah, stating the general terms and character of cl
opening, breaking or excavation so contemplated, giving as near as practicable
the vridth, length and depth thereof-) together with the location thereof, &W.. the Ge
time that will be required to make same, and the purposes for which same shall be
made; and thereupon it shall be the duty of the City Fnrineer -to endorse upon said
application the amount of bond, as hereinafter provided for, to be required or
the said applicant before permit is granted by said Engineer,— to perform the work
set out in said application.
