Be it ordained by the General Council of the City of Paducah, Kentucky$ Soe.l. That there is hereby levied for the year 1902, upenthe taxable property of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, real and portional, an advalerem tax of one dollar and fifty cents ($1.60), pursuant to Section 167 of the State Censtitutient and thirty-five cents (36¢), pursuant to Sectien3219 of the Kentucky Statutes, making one dollar and eighty- five cents ($1.86) total rate, on each one hundred dollars (,$100.00) worth of said real and tdtl+l personal property in the City of Padueahi ar,d that there is alre levied n Poll tax of one dollar and fifty cents ($1.60) to each male resident of the city ever twenty-one (21) years of age for the said year of 1902. See. 4. That the rate of taxation for each item of expenditure, as herein- before apportioned and set out, shall be on each one hundred dollar. 0100. worth of said property, as follows, to-witf-- Salaries, ten cents and two mills (,102), Streets, bridges d fills, seventeen cents and four mills (.174) Fire Department, twelve cents and three mills(.123) Police Department, eighteen cents (.18) Electric Plant, nix cents and three mills (.083) Water, seven cents and three mills (.073) Real Estate, three cents (.03) City Hall, one cent and ■ix mills (.0*) Oak Grove, one cent and eight mills (.018) Hospital, pauper and charity, three cents (.03) Sanitary, one cent and seven mills (.017) General Expense,three cents and dour mills (.034) Contingent Fund, one cent and five mills (.018) Costs & Suits, eleven cents (.11) Interest, seventeen cents (.17) Floating debt, thirty two cents and five mills (.326) Sinking fund, two cents /-p# (.02) School and Library fund, thirty-five cents (.36) Sec 6_ That this ordinance shall take effect from and after its Passage and approval, Approved April 28th 1902 Approved April 29 1902 Ed P.Noble Prest Board Alderman Chas Reed Approved April 301902 ¢.& Yeseer Mayer.
