Cyd \ ��� � ��(• -- AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE PRICE OF GRAVE PRIVILEGES IN -OAK-OROVe,- CEni' ERY, THE METHOD OF NARKING SUCH GRAVES AND DIRECTING THEIR CARE,- ETC.- / -- -- -- + --Ahereass the public burying gAround of Oak -rove Cemetery has been sold off from time to time,under what has been commonly -termed grave privileges, i to persons who have riven these little or no care,and such neglect of this 1'port of the said Cemetery has' caused it to become unsightly and disgusting, - b. and in order that this ground may have the proper care and be retained in such condition As may causo it, ----to -, aid to the beautifying of the City Cemetery, - r. "uo it ordained by the common council of the city of Paducah, Ky,- That after the adoption of this ordinance nil graves sold in Jal- v'rove Csmetory,-unlor what is known as a single grave privilege,- the pride ; thereof is h-,reby fixed at ts,- per grave for the burial of all persona p� over twelve years of age,and at the price of ;-4,- per grnve for the burial " Z of, - of Children MM the age of twelve or under. - N '-SEC,-2,- That at any time when a body is removed from such grave privilege, I. and'the purchaser the:•eof shall tender the ground back to the city,then the %IA4.C-V#4*rJi.:. city shall refund the original purchase price thereofA to said purchnser_or. his lawful representative.- t,L0,-3,- That whenever a body shall be disinterred and removed from such grave,thereby areating a vacancy in the public ground assi,-ned to be sold as grave privileges,-Ahe 0exton of the Cemetery shall repirt such removal to th3 City Clerk,who shall in writing make a report to the Chairman of the Cemotcry Committee at the eirst regular meeting of the Council thereafter, 1 a,, and the Chairman shall immediately report some to the Council which body shall take all proper action with regard to placing same to pr3per record,- 6k.C,-4,- That all graves in the public ground either vacated or occupied ,shall at once be nicely filled and #4 planted with blue -grasp seed by the oexton of Oak -grove cemetery,and as the said grave• in such public ground become vacated or in a sunken condition the said 4exton shall immediately. hays same properly filled and planted in grass as above specified, and it shall be'the duty of the Sexton to keep the said g g +.- y P public round in pod condition at all times.- yEC,- 6,- That it shall be the duty of the ci o furnish all necessary earth ani other material for the impro G 111n$ of the,g WJ
