HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 4, Page 389, Ordinance Number 1066:7, 1 J 1 1,.A:4 ORDINANCE FOR THE UUjtOVM6MT,OF TENTH STREET BY GRADING AND ORAVF.LING SAME FROM THE PRESENT QliP ONORTHF.RN TERMINUS TO TERRELL18 LINE,, ' M� NN N NN N- N ------------------------------------------ -Be. - --Be. it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Paducah, Ky.- SM,-10- That Tenth street be improved by grading and graveling same from the present Northern terminus of same,as now improved, to Terrh)ll's line '4*according to the plan's,spoeifications ;k -Ad profile of the City Engineer and Ir) accord with the ordinances of the city of Paducah governing such woi-k.lno so far as these do not conflict tith the said plans, specification and profilo of the City Engineer,- Sec;- 2,- That the said improvement shall be made at the exclusive co'et -;of the owners of property abutting,or.fronting on Tenth street between 7 —the proseent improved northern terminus thereof and Vrrell's line: the City of Paducah being responsible for no part of the cost of such improve"' rent except at the intersections of streets and public alldoys•and such other portions of same as the city may have contracted in securing the. right of way .- IEC, -31- That the contractor to Whom the said improvement shall be giveri_.under contract shall renove six inches off of the'•width of the texcavation for street proper ,,-xcluoive of side-cml'.cs, the distance the said Tenth street shall be improved under this ordinance throu3h the property of Joseph Chonal and Wifo, in lengft ' eeme Nine 11undred ecot,more or lose, and convey said six inches of top surface ,of earth to and upon the land of the said Joseph Chenal and wife Immediately to the west side of the said otreet, and that the work of j,)improvement of that part of the said Tenth street through the property of ' the said Joseph Chenal and wife, or from Terrel]i street to Torrellline shall not be commenced before the 16th day of September 1001.
