i(de it ordained by the common council of the city of Paducah Ky.-

SEC 1 That a census is hcreb ordered taken of the

the city of Paducah. -
SEC, -2,- That the compensation for said work shall be one and one half
cents per name ( 1 1/2 so furnished in taking said census. -
SEC, -39- That the mayor shall appoint a committee of five members of
the common council who shall employ the census enumerators, direct their
work, receive the report of same when the work is completed and present
same to the common council, and that the work shall be executed during
the months of APRIL and 1:.AY 1901.
3ec,-4,- That 617t t4iis ordinance shall take effect frorn,and after, its
passage and approval, and that all ordinances and parts of ordinances a
in conflict with this ordinance are,to the extent of such confliction,
hereby repealed,
