Be it ordained by the common council of the city of Paducah, Ky'- -
Section l,- That the above titled ordinance be,and the same is hereby ik

amended by striking )ut of s<ction five (b) thereof the following
i
words,-" And no article shall be deemed or considered as sold until the
same shall be delivered to the purchaser" and by inserting inlieu '
thereof the following,-" That an article shall be doomed sold and•in
violation of the provisions ofTMA srdinanco "to. 9il when same shall
be set aside to be delivered after the closing of market hours,or on
delivery of such prohibited article during or before market hours, or
an article of marketing, -
iX ith drawn from public offer of sale to any or all persons who may
desire to purchnoo came at retail duriir, said open market hours, or ~
when the vendor of an article or articles on said market shall put a

fictitious price on same so high as to cause same to remain unsold for M/
the purpose of dofoatinr the intent of said ordinance the article so
hold shall also be doomed as sold in the moaning of said ordinance,
and the penalties prescribed thereunder shall apply in each or any of 4
the above cases.- j
Section,-•<,- That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in.4conflict
with the•provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed 6*,Ilr`t`1`kf# to'
