Mayor Wilson offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Kressenberg, that the a reading of the Minutes for June 6, 1967 be waived and that the Minutes of said meeting prepared by the City Clerk be approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, i Commissioners Johnston, Kressenberg, Paxton, Puryear and Mayor Wilson (5). Petition - Sewers Commissioner Johnston offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Kressenberg, that Lincoln Heights- ,rte Littleville area the petition signed by Lillian Oden and others, requesting a sewage system for the Lincoln Heights - Littleville area, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Kressenberg, Paxton, Puryear and Mayor Wilson (5). i Director Fiscal Commissioner Johnston offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Kressenberg, that Affairs sign checks Rex Morrow, Director of Fiscal Affairs and Senior Treasurer and Senior Finance Director for the City of Paducah, be authorized as Senior Treasurer to co-sign with the City Manager all checks for the City, that he be instructed to sign a signature card with all banks wherein the City has accounts, and that an attested copy of this motion be furnished each such bank as evidence of his authority. Nell Tucker be employed as Ticket Seller, in the Parks & Recreation Department, retroactive to June 1, 1967, at a salary of $200.00 per month,' 11. The following persons be employed as Basketroom Attendants, in the Parks & Recreation Department, retroactive to June 1, 1967, at the following salaries: Chole Stroud, $1.10 per hour Sara Shelton, $1.10 per hour Jimmie Stroud, $1.10 per hour James Taylor, $1.10 per hour Bruce Clifford, $1.10 per hour 12. The resignation of Jimmie Stroud as Basketroom Attendant be accepted, effective i June 5, 1967. I 13. The following persons be employed as Lifeguards in the Parks and Recreation Department retroactive to June 1, 1967, at the following salaries: i i Charles Anderson, Captain, $1.35 per hour Julia Miller, $1.25 per hour . Keith Duncan, $1.25 per hour James Riddle, $1.25 per hour David Bernstein, $1.25 per hour Martin Conrad, $1.15 per hour Cherri Conner, $1.15 per hour 14. Claude Hutchinson, applicant -candidate in the Fire Department, be employed as a permanent fireman, retroactive to June 1, 1967. 15. Mary Ann Thomas, clerk -typist in the Finance office, be placed under civil service, effective June 16, 1967. wdy, Sr., be employed as a patrolman in the Police Department, effective June 16, 1967, provided by such time he furnishes, at his expense, a satisfactory medical report as to his physical condition, including an electrocardiogram. 17. The following patrolmen in the Police Department be promoted to sergeants in said department, effective June 16, 1967: W.
