At a Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber,

of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.M. on June 13, 1967, Mayor Wilson preside
and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners
Kressenberg, Paxton, Puryear and Mayor Wilson (5).
Mayor Wilson offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Kressenberg, that the

reading of the Minutes for June 6, 1967 be waived and that the Minutes of said meeting
prepared by the City Clerk be approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas,

Petition - Sewers Commissioner Johnston offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Kressenberg, that
Lincoln Heights- ,rte
Littleville area the petition signed by Lillian Oden and others, requesting a sewage system for the
Lincoln Heights - Littleville area, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll,
Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Kressenberg, Paxton, Puryear and Mayor Wilson (5).

Director Fiscal Commissioner Johnston offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Kressenberg, that
Affairs sign checks
Rex Morrow, Director of Fiscal Affairs and Senior Treasurer and Senior Finance Director
for the City of Paducah, be authorized as Senior Treasurer to co-sign with the City
Manager all checks for the City, that he be instructed to sign a signature card with all
banks wherein the City has accounts, and that an attested copy of this motion be furnished
each such bank as evidence of his authority. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas,

14. Claude Hutchinson, applicant -candidate in the Fire Department, be employed as a
permanent fireman, retroactive to June 1, 1967.
15. Mary Ann Thomas, clerk -typist in the Finance office, be placed under civil service,
effective June 16, 1967.

provided by such time he furnishes, at his expense, a satisfactory medical report as
to his physical condition, including an electrocardiogram.

Agreement between Illinois Central Railroad Company and the City of Paducah, dated
February 28, 1967, granting to the city a license and permission to construct and
maintain a 36 inch reinforced Class IV concrete pip-- storm sewer pipe line across and
underneath the waylands and tracks of the Railroad Company and beneath one track at a
point 420 feet north or mile post 225 near Paducah, Kentucky, be received and filed.
