Proceedings of Board of Commissioners City of Paducah May 2, 1967
At a Regular Meetinr of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Cahmbe�
Of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.M. on May 2, 1967, Mayor Wilson presided
and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners
Johnston, Kressenberp, Paxton, Purvear and Mayor Wilson (5).
Mayor Wilson offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Kressenberg, that the
reading of the Minutes for April 29, 1967 be waived, and that the Minutes of said
meeting prepared by the City Clerk be approved as written. Adopted on call of the
Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Kressenberg, Paxton, Puryear and Mayor Wilson (5).

Commissioner Johnston offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Kressenberp,
that a Resolution entitled "A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE CITY MANAGER TO ADVERTISE FOR
BIDS FOR THREE (3) DUMP TRUCKS FOR USE IN THE STREET DEPARTMENT AND ONE (1) TRUCK CAB
AND CHASSIS WITHOUT BED FOR USE IN THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SUCH PURCHASE
SHALL BE MADE", be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners
Johnston, Kressenberp, Paxton, Puryear and Mayor Wilson (5).

POMPACT'MiOTOR VEHICLE, AND PRESCRIBING THE CONDITIONS UPON WHICH PURCHASE SHALL BE

RESURFACING VARIOUS STREETS IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, INCLUDING THE RAISING AND RESETTING
OF MANHOLES", be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnst
Kressenberp, Paxton, Puryear and Mayor Wilson (5).
Commissioner Paxton, offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear, that a
Resolution entitled "A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE CITY MANAGER TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOF
THE PURCHASE OF THE CITY'S REQUIREMENT OF LIMESTONE FOR THE YEAR 1967 (APPROXIMATELY
1,800 TONS) TO BE USED IN STREET CONSTRUCTION WORK", be adopted. Adopted on call
of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Kressenberp, Paxton, Puryear and Mayor
Wilson (5).
Commissioner Faxton offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Furyear, that a
Resolution entitled "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS
FOR FURNISHING THE CITY OF PADUCAH WITH ITS REQUIREMENT OF REGULAR AND ETHYL GASOLINE,
MOTOR OIL, DIESEL FUEL, CHASSIS LUBRICANT, GEAR LURE OIL, HYDRAULIC OIL, KEROSENE AND
ANTI-FREESE TO BE USED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, FROM JULY 1, 19,7 TO DECEMBER 31, 1967"
