Commissioner McNutt was absent when the meeting was called to order. Mayor Cherry offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Lambert, that the execute copies of the Notice of Called meeting to be held at 7:30 P.M. on May 6, 1969, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Lambert Puryear and Mayor Cherry (4). in Commissioner Harvey offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Lambert, that the memorandum from Sergeant J. P. Throgmorton dated April 24, 1969, with reference to one- way traffic on South 3rd and South 4th Streets, be received and filed. Adopted on cal of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor Cherry (4). Commissioner Harvey offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Lambert as follows I move that the Board of Commissioners approve the sale by the City of Paducah to Mrs. John H. Whitworth of two graves (10 x 12 feet) located in the southeast corner of Lot No. 18, Block No. 3 of the Mausoleum Addition to Oak Grove Cemetery, for the sum of $350.00. 1 further move that the City Clerk be authorized to execute a deed of conveyance to said cemetery graves. Adopted on call of the roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor Cherry (4). Commissioner Harvey offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Lambert, that the executed copy of the lease dated February, 1969, between Paducah Airport Corporation an Sally Moyers d/b/a Ohio valley Aviation, for lease of facilities at Barkley Field, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Lambert Puryear and Mayor Cherry (4). Commissioner Lambert offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Harvey, that the bid of Wilson's Ford Tractor, Inc., dated May 2, 1969, for sale to the City of one (1) Ford 2110 L.C.G. tractor, be received and filed. Commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Lambert, that the Paul Duncan Certificate of Insurance issued by The Aetna Casualty and Surety Company to the City of Paducah, covering work done by Paul Duncan for a period of one year from April 30, 1969 be received and filed. Cemetery Mayor Cherry offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Lambert, that the followin Kent Woods resignation personnel changes be made: Richard Archer / 1. The resignation of Kent Woods, laborer in the Cemetery Department, employ II ��+++/// effective May 2, 1969, be accepted. Richard Arch r terminate 2. Richard Archer be temporarily employed as a seasonal laborer in the Cemetery Department, at a salary of $2.00 per hour, retroactive to Floodwall May 5, 1969. J.C.Ray employ 3. J. Curtiss Ray be temporarily employed as a pump operator in the Floodwall Department, at a salary of $2.00 per hour, retroactive to Police April 29, 1969. Larry Moyers) employ 4. Richard Archer, seasonal laborer in the Cemetery Department, be terminated, effective May 6, 1969 at 12:00 noon. I 5.
