At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chambe.
of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at i:30 P.M. on May 6, 1969, Mayor Cherry presided
and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners Harvey,
Lambert, Puryear and Mayor Cherry (4). Commissioner McNutt was absent when the meeting
was called to order.
Mayor Cherry offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Lambert, that the execute
copies of the Notice of Called meeting to be held at 7:30 P.M. on May 6, 1969, be
received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Lambert
Puryear and Mayor Cherry (4).
in Commissioner Harvey offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Lambert, that the
memorandum from Sergeant J. P. Throgmorton dated April 24, 1969, with reference to one-
way traffic on South 3rd and South 4th Streets, be received and filed. Adopted on cal
of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor Cherry (4).
Commissioner Harvey offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Lambert as follows
I move that the Board of Commissioners approve the sale by the City of Paducah
to Mrs. John H. Whitworth of two graves (10 x 12 feet) located in the southeast corner
of Lot No. 18, Block No. 3 of the Mausoleum Addition to Oak Grove Cemetery, for the
sum of $350.00.
1 further move that the City Clerk be authorized to execute a deed of conveyance
to said cemetery graves. Adopted on call of the roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey,
Lambert, Puryear and Mayor Cherry (4).
Commissioner Harvey offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Lambert, that the
executed copy of the lease dated February, 1969, between Paducah Airport Corporation an
Sally Moyers d/b/a Ohio valley Aviation, for lease of facilities at Barkley Field, be
received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Lambert
Puryear and Mayor Cherry (4).
Commissioner Lambert offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Harvey, that the
bid of Wilson's Ford Tractor, Inc., dated May 2, 1969, for sale to the City of one (1)
Ford 2110 L.C.G. tractor, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas,
Commissioners Harvey, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor Cherry (4).

Commissioner Lambert offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Harvey, that the
executed copy of the Fitst Amendatory Contract Amending Grant Contract for Code
Enforcement Program Contract No. KY. E -1(G), dated the 29th day of April, 1969, be
received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Lambert
Puryear and Mayor Cherry (4).
Commissioner Lambert offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear that the
Board of Commissioners approve the sale by the City to Mrs. Ralph Petty of the northeas
corner of Lot No. 313 in Block No. 6 of the Rushing Addition to Oak Grove Cemetery, and
that the City Clerk be authorized to execute a deed of conveyance to said cemetery grav
