Proceedings of Board of Commissioners City of Paducah—_—_ September 17, 1968
At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commis'oion Chamber
in the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 4:00 P.M. on September 17, 1968, Mayor Cherry
presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissioner
Harvey, Lambert, McNutt, Puryear and Mayor Cherry (5).
Mayor Cherry offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Lambert, that the executed
copies of the Notice of Called Meeting to be held at 4:00 P.M. on September 17, 1968,
be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey,
Lambert, McNutt, Puryear and Mayor Cherry (5).
Sewer Line Commissioner Harvey offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Lambert, that the
Easement
Urban Renewa Sewer Line Easement running from Washington Street to Clark Street between 5th and
6th Streets, as conveyed by the Urban Renewal and Community Development Agency of Paduca
Kentucky, to the City of Paducah, Kentucky, on August 5, 1968 and as was recorded in
Deed Book 501, page 432, McCracken County Court Clerk's office, be accepted, received
and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Lambert, McNutt,
Puryear and Mayor Cherry (5).
Liability Ins. Commissioner Lambert offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Harvey, that the

Heating Co. Certificate of Insurance issued by Security Insurance Company of Hartford to Tilford
Plumbing & Heating, Inc. for a period of one year from September 6, 1968, be received,
approved and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Lambert,
McNutt, Puryear and Mayor Cherry (5).
Motion of V( Commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner McNutt, that a

Commissioner Harvey offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Lambert, that a
resolution entitled "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS
FOR FURNISHING THE CITY OF PADUCAH WITH FURNITURE AND APPLIANCES FOR THE NEW CENTRAL
FIRE STATION", be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners
Harvey, Lambert, McNutt, Puryear and Mayor Cherry (5).
Commissioner Lambert offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Harvey, that a
resolution entitled "A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE PROPOSAL OF STEIN BROS. & BOYCE, INC.
TO ACT AS FISCAL AGENTS FOR THE ISSUANCE AND SALE OF PADUCAH VOTED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT
(STR EET PAVING) BONDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,000,000.00), be adopted. Adopted on
call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Lambert, McNutt, Puryear and Mayor
Cherry (5).
On motion the meeting adjourned.
