At a Regular Meeting of the Board of commissioners held in the Commission Cha

in the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.M. on October 24, 1967 Mayor Wilson
li presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commission -I
ers Johnston, Kressenberg, Paxton, Puryear and Mayor Wilson (5).
(: Mayor Wilson offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Kressenberg, that the
reading of the Minutes for October 10, 1967 be waived and that the Minutes of said
meeting prepared by the City Clerk be approved as written. Adopted on call of the
Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Kressenberg, Paxton, Puryear and Mayor Wilson (5).

Riverport 11 Mayor Wilson made the following appointments: Pursuant to Section 2 of an
Authority Com.
Appoint ordinance creating and establishing the Paducah -McCracken County Riverport Authority

Gresham Hougland and providing for the appointment of members thereof and delegating powers thereto

I hereby appoint the following individuals for the following terms:
J. S. Piers for a term of two years
Gresham Hougland for a term of three years
Jerry Page for a term of four years
All appointments herein shall expire on the anniversary date of the ordinance
creating the Authority, which date is September 26. !

EXECUTE A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY AND HELM ROBERTS, ARCHITECT -
PLANNER OF LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY, PROVIDING FOR DEVELOPMENT OF A COMMUNITY SHELTER PLAN
be introduced and remain on file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in
the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage. Adopted on call
of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Kressenberg, Paxton, Puryear and Mayor
Wilson (5).
