At a Rerular Tieetinp of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber
of the Cite Hall, iaducah, Kentuckv, at 7:30 F.M. on January 31, 19(', Mayor `iilson
presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners
Johnston, Kressenberr, Paxton, Furvear and Mayor Wilson (5).
Mayor Wilson offered motion, seconded nv Commissioner YressenberP that the readin
of the Minutes for January 24, 19(7 be waived and that the Minutes of said meeting
prepared by the Citv Clerk be approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas,
Pommissioners Johnston, Y,ressenl-err, Paxton, Puryear and Mayor Wilson (5).
Commissioner Johnston offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Kressenberp that
on recommendation of the City Manaper the following personnel changes be made:
1. The resignation of Donald Chalk, laborer in the.Parks Recreation
Department, be accepted, effective January 31, 1967.
2. The employment of Rudy Davenport, Guard in the Parks & Recreation
Employ -Parks 1 / Department, be chanced to laborer in said Department, effective
Rudy Davenpok February 1, 1967, at a salary of $1.75 per hour.

promoted to truck driver in said Department, effective February 1,

Recreation Instructor, at a salary of $5.00 per session, retro-
active to January 16, 1967.
5, Todd Reva Tiller be employed in the Parks R Recreation Department
as Tap & Ballet Instructor, at a salary of $5.00 per session, re-
troactive to January 16, 1967.
(. The resirnation of Patricia Klopsch, Tap ?• Ballet Instructor in the
Parks & Recreation Department, he accepted.
y. Robert C. Manchester, a Practicing Attorney of the McCracken County
Bar, be emploved as Special Counsel to the legal department of the
City under the terms of an ordinance adopted August 16, 19(6 by
the Board of Commissioners,effective February 1, 1967, at a salary
of $300.00 per month.
Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Kressenberp, Paxton, Furyear
and Mavor Wilson (5).
Commissioner Kressenberr offered motion that the following rids for accounting; or

that an ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF W. L. BAILEY AND COMPANY,
INC. OF NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE, IN THE AIOUNT OF $1,137,485.00 (BASE BID A) FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF PROJECT 3 OF CONTRACT NO. 1, RELIEF SEWERS (HUD PROJECT NO. WS -3-18-000;
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE ON BEHALF OF SAID CITY, A CONTRACT FOR SUCH
CONSTRUCTION, AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SUCH CONTRACT", be adopted.
