City of Paducah October 10, 1967 At a Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.M. on October 10, 1967, Mayor Wilson presided and upon call of the Roll, the following answered to their names; Commissioners Johnston, Kressenberg, Paxton, Puryear and Mayor Wilson (5). Mayor Wilson offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Kressenberg, that the reading of the Minutes for September 26 and October 3, 1967 be waived, and that the Minutes of said meetings prepared by the City Clerk be approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Kressenberg, Paxton, Puryear and Mayor Wilson (5). Golf Commiss.�n Mayor Wilson made the following appointment; It appearing that the term of Appoint �� William M. office of Charles Robert Bell as a member of the Paducah Golf Commission, expired Carson March 26, 1967, I now therefore, subject to the approval of the Board of Commissioners i appoint William M. Carson as a member of said Commission for a term of four years from March 26, 1967, so that said Commission as now established shall be as follows: Fred Paxton whose term expires March 26, 1968 James S. Musgove whose term expires March 26, 1969 keith Bryant whose term expires March 26, 1970 Dr. Clyde Peel, Jr. whose term expires March 26, 1970 William M. Employ Commissioner Johnston offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Kressenberg, that' Virginia Douglas -Park / on the recommendation of the City Manager the following personnel changes be made: Robert Diehl y 1. Mrs Virginia Douglas be employed as recreation specialist "A" in the Parks Parks & Recreation Department, effective October 16, 1967, at a salary of $6.00 per session. Resignations Parks 2. The resignation of Mrs. Lucy O'Mara as recreation specialist "A" in the Lucy O'Mara / Parks & Recreation Department, be accepted. Thos Calhoun- B.D.Sills 3. Robert Diehl be employed as a temporary laborer in the Parks & Recreation Robert S. I / Department, effective October 16, 1967, at a salary of $1.75 per hour. Staples -Poli e Y 4. The resignation of Thomas Calhoun, laborer in the Parks & Recreation Department, be accepted, effective September 29, 1967. 5. The resignation of B. D. Sills, chief assessor in the Assessor's Office, be accepted, effective October 15, 1967. 6. The resignation of Robert S. staples, patrolman in the Police Department, _ be accepted, effective September 28, 1967.
