Commissioner Karnes offered the following motion: It appears .From a letter date(
October 10, 1963, filed ",v the Commissioners of Plater t'lorks that they recommend the
addition. of 3.990 feet of 6 inch water mains Ielonpinr to the Paducah 'dater 'corks and
located in the Country Club Terrace Addition be added to the city's fire protection
system, and that 9 fire hvdrants be installed on these mains to provide fire protect:iol
for property in the Country Club Terrace Subdivision.
I therefore move that the letter of the Commissioners of Plater 11orks be recei.v-:(i
and filed and that the Paducah Plater :'forks, through its Board of Commissioners, :,e
authorized to install fire hydrants in the above mentioned Subdivision as fell,
2 - on fines Road between t:Otb Street and Bellevue Drive
2 - on Hillratre Road between Pines Road and Primrose }'lace
2 - on Ferncliff Court
3 - on Primrose Place between Bellevue Drive and Ivy Drive
I further move that the adoption of this resolution be considered as an agreement
on the part of the City of Paducah to pay the fire hydrant and main rental, as provided
in the franchise, on the water mains and fire hydrants referred to in the letter of the
Commissioners of '.'later Works, said rentals to berin when said fire hydrants have been
installed and placed in service. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners

Favor Cherry offered motion that the reports of the Paducah :dater :'forks be
received and filed, and that the following checks be turned over to the City Treasurer
to he deposited in ti -e proper accounts:
Refuse collections for September, 1963 X9,232.15
Sewer Service Charges for September, 1963 9,087.50
Pad Refuse accounts collected durinr September 29.50
