PAt a Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber of
the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.M. on June 25, 1963, Mayor Cherry presided ai
upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners Fendley,
Cholson, Hornsby, Karnes and Mayor Cherry (5).
Mayor Cherry offered motion that the reading of the Minutes for June 11 and June 20,
1963 be waived and that the Minutes of said meeting prepared by the City Clerk be
lapproved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fendlev, Gholson

ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of said City on March 13, 1963, and
has requested by letter that his employment as such be continued, and that such
continuation has been recommended by Ed Turner, Chief of said Department,- I now
therefore move that this Board declare that continuation of such employment will be
for the best interest of said City, and that such employment be continued until mid -night
on the 31st day of December, 1963 unless terminated prior to such time by operation of
