Proceedings of Board of Commissioners City of Paducah November 22, 1966
At a Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber)
of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.M. on November 22, 1966, Mayor Wilson
presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners
Johnston, Kressenbere, Paxton, Puryear and Mayor Wilson (5).
Mavor Wilson offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Kressenberg, that the reads
of the Minutes for November '15, 1966 be waived and that the Minutes of said meeting
prepared by the City Clerk be approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas,
Commissioners Johnston, Kressenberp, Paxton, Puryear and Mayor Wilson (5).
Employ Policemen. Commissioner Johnston offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Kressenberg, that

1. The following persons be employed as patrolmen in the Police Department,
Leslie Walker, Jr e - effective December 1, 1966, provided by such time they furnish, at their
Fireman expense, a satisfactory medical report as to their physical condition,
License Clerks including electrocardiograms:
Pauline Slankard Robert Staples, at 6:01 A.M.
Ava Nell Hornsby William Bruce, at 6:02 A.M.
Dian Mch,urtry ✓ Leroy Humphrev, at 6:03 A.M.
2. Leslie Walker, Jr. an Applicant -Candidate in the Fire Department;. has
satisfactorily completed the 60 day training period as such Applicant -
Candidate as provided by ordinance, he is hereby appointed a fireman
in the Fire Department,,at a salary of $340.00 per month, rdfrocati:ve to
November 16, 1966.
3• The following persons be temporarily employed as auto license clerks in the
Finance Office, at a salary'of $210.00 per month: .
Mrs. Pauline Slankard, effective December 1, 1966 or as soon
thereafter as State auto license go on sale
Mrs. Ava Nell Hornsby, effective January 3, 1967
Mss. Diane McMurtry, effective January 3, 1967.

Drive, and heinp a part of Lot No. 89 in Section 6 of Oak Grove Cemetery, for the
sum of UP.O.00.
I further mo -e that the Citv Clerk be authorized to execute a deed of /conveyance
