of the City Fall, Faducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.M. on July 26, 1966, Mavor Wilson
presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissioner:
Johnston, Kressenterg, Paxton, Puryear and Biayor Wilson (5).
.1•+avor Wilson offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Kressenberr•, that the
readirp of the Minutes for July 12th and 18th, 1966 be waived and that the Minutes of
said meetings prepared by the City Clerk be approved as written. Adopted on call of
the Roll, Yeas, flommissioners Johnston, Kressenberp, Paxton, Puryear and N:avor Wilson
Commissioner Johnston offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Kressenherp., that
David Leon ' on the recommendation of the City Manager the following_ personnel changes he made:

7. David Leon Bernstein be employed as lifeguard in the Parks and Recreation
Marion Thomasson ✓
App=Cand. Fire Dept Department, retroactive to July 16, 1966, at a salary of $1.00 per hour in Class
Terminate2. Marion Thomasson be employed as Applicant -Candidate in the Fire Department,
Odus Ray Smith effective August 1, 1966, provided by such time he furnished, at his expense, a
Rodney Adams satisfactory medical report as to his physical condition, including an
electrocardiogram.

Sewer & Refu a Commissioner Paxton offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear that the
June 1 66 i reports o_- the Paducah Water Works be received and filed, and that the follotirino checks
be turned over to the City Treasurer to be deposited in the proper accounts:
Refuse collections for June, 1966 $12,951.27
Sewer Service Charpes for June, 1966 13,147.58
Bad Refuse accounts collected during June 47.80

Liahilitv Ini, Commissioner Paxton offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear that the

Certificate of Insurance issued by United States Fidelity and Guaranty Company to Loyd

Coins from October 25, 1965 to October 25, 1966, together with Bond in the amount of
$1,000 dated June 13, 1966, be received, approved and filed. Adopted on call of the

Settle claim Commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Paxton, that the

imbursement of that amount paid by it to settle the claim of J. E. Fonville for damages

reiml.ursement of that amount paid by it to settle the claim of Herman A. Boeckmann for
damares to his car port by a refuse truck, at 601 North Valley Road, on June 7, 1966,
he allowed, and that the City Treasurer pay said claim to said Company after securing
a f::ll and complate release. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners
Johnston, Kressenberm, Paxton, Puryear and Mayor Wilson (5).

FOR FURNISHING THE CITY OF PADUCAH WITH ITS REQUIREME-NT OF NEW AUTOMOBILE AND TRUCK
TIRES FOR THE PERIOD OF TINE FROM AUGUST 1, 1966 TO JULY 31, 1967, AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AND EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE", be
adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Kressenberr_,
Paxton, Puryear and Mayor Wilson (5).
