At a Rerular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chambe
of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.M. on February 22, 1966, Mayor :Milson
presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to'their names: Commissioners
Johnston, Kressenberg*, Paxton, Puryear and Mayor Milson (5).
Mayor Nilson offered motion that the reading of the Minutes for February 8, 1966
be waived and that the Minutes of said meeting prepared by the City Clerk be approved as
written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Kressenberg,
Paxton, Purvear and Mayor Wilson (5).
Dr. Norman A. i Mayor Wilson made the following appointment: WHEREAS, the term of office of Nc
Parrott appoint-
ed on Urban i,:1 Clark as a member of the Urban Renewal and Community Development Agency of the City of
Renewal Board
Paducah, will expire on February 23, 1966.
Now therefore, subject to the approval of the Board of Commissioners, I hereby
appoint Dr. Norman A. Parrott to serve as a member of said Board for a term of four (4)
years from February 23, 1966, so that said Board as now constituted shall be composed
of the following members:
Howard Woodall whose term expires February 23, 1967
Gresham Hougland whose term expires February 23, 1968
Joacuin Seltzer whose term expires February 23, 196$
W. C. Young whose term expires February 23, 1969
Dr. Norman A. Parrott whose term expires February 23, 1970.
The aforesaid appointment of Dr, Norman A. Parrott shall not become effective until
March 2, 1966.

Commissioner Johnston offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Kressenberg that
the reports of the Paducah Water Works be received and filed, and that the following
checks be turned over to the City Treasurer to be deposited in the proper accounts:
Refuse collections for January, 1966 $10,247.15
Sewer Service changes for January, 1966 12,687.96
Bad Refuse accounts collected during January 10.00

Commissioner Johnston offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Kressenberg, that
the executed copy of the Contract between the City of Paducah and Henry A. Patter Suppl
Company, for sale to the City of 1000 feet of fire hose, be received and filed. Adopte
on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, KressenberF, Paxton, Puryear and
Mayor Wilson (5).
Commissioner KressenberF offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Johnston, that
the claim of Mr, and Mrs. Robert E. Madden, Route #1, Calvert City, Kentucky, in the sum
of $35.40, for damages to a Nash automobile owned by them or either of them, by a police
vehicle, on or about January 22, 1966 near 6th and Broadway, be allowed, and that the
Treasurer pay said claim after securing a full and complete release. Adopted on call of
the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Kressenbere, Paxton, Puryear and Mayor Wilson (5).
Commissioner KressenberF offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Johnston that
the claim of Fred Lewis, 627 Wheeler, arainst the City in the sum of $87.98, for damapes
to his motor vehicle by a refuse truck of the City, or on about February 14, 1966 be
allowed; and that the Treasurer pay said claim after securing a full and complete release.
