At an Adjourned Rep•ular. Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the
Commission Chamber of the Cite Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:00 P.M. on December 23,
1915, Mayor Milson presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their
names: Commissioners Davis, Hornsby, Kressenberg, Parrott and T-avor 'Wilson (5)
Commissioner Hornsby offered motion. that Mrs. Tomasina Bolger be, and she
is herehv, named, appointed and desirnated as the official reporter of the Board of
Commissioners of the City of Paducah, to report and transcribe the evidence and
proceedings at the trial of Charges preferred against William T. Schaeffes by Paul
Holland, Chief df the Police Department of said City. Adopted on call of the Roll,
Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Hornsby, Kressenberg, Parrott and Mayor Pli.lson (5)
Commissioner Farrott offered the following. motion: I move that the
Board of Commissioners adopt the following findings of fact and ,judgment upon charges
preferred by Paul Holland, Chief of the Police Department of the City of Paducah,
against William T. Schaeffer a -member of said department.
The Board of Commissioners havine heard the evidence upon charees preferred
against the defendant, William T. Schaeffer, a member of the Police Department of the
City of Paducah, by Paul Holland, Chief of said Department, and beinf sufficiently
advised, does now adiudre that said defendant is guilty as charged, and it is now
the iudement of said Board of Commissioners that the defendant, Gilliam T. Schae.ffar•
be, andhe is herehv suspended without pay as a member of said department; for a
period of twenty-one (21) days, effective immediately. Adopted on call of the Roll,
Yeas, Commissioners Hornsby, Kressenberg, Parrott and Mayor Wilson (4), Commissioner
Davis •oted "Iio".
On motion the meeting adjourned.
