At a Regular Meetinr of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamb
of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.M. on November 23, 1965, Mayor

Davis, Hornsby, Parrott and Mayor Wilson (4), Commissioner Kressenberg being absent (1).
Mayor Wilson offered motion that the reading of the Minutes for November 9,
j 1965 be waived and that the Minutes of said mebtinr prepared by the City Clerk be
approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Hornsby,
Parrott and Mayor Wilson (4).

Commissioner Davis offered the following motion, seconded by Commissioner
Hornsby: On the recommendation of the City Manager, I move that the following personn
chances be made:
/ 1: Danny Taylor, an Applicant -Candidate in the Fire Department, has
satisfactorily completed the 60 day training period as such Applicant -
Candidate as provided by ordinance, he is hereby appointed a fireman in
the Fire Department, at a salary of $325.00 per month, retroactive to
s / November 16, 1965.
L. 2. Gerald Tucker, temporary. laborer in the Parks and Recreation Department,
be terminated, effective December 1, 1965.
3, Pat D. Trevathan, a private in the Fire Department, be promoted
to Engineer in said Department, effective December 1, 1965.
4.- Billie Weyers be employed as temporary license clerk, in the Finance
Office at a salary of $210.00 per month, effective December 1 or as soon
thereafter that State Rags go on dale.
5. Martha Lou Sargent be employed as temporary license clerk, in the Finance
Office at a salary of $210.00 per month, effective January 2, 1966.
6. Queenie Dinning be employed as temporary license clerk, in the Finance
Office at a salary of $210.00 per month, effective January 2, 1966.
Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Hornsby, Parrott and Mayor
Wilson (4).
Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Davis that
Nix Albritton, Milton L. Dezern and John Bays be appointed to serve as members of the
Board of Equalization of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, for the year 1965; that the
members of said Board, after beinr first duly sworn to faithfully discharge the duties
of their office, be directed to meet at the City Hall in Paducah, Kentucky, on the 6th
day ofDecember, 1965; to elect from themselves a chairman and a Clerk; to notify the
City Auditor that they are ready to receive the assessment books and to then proceed
with the equalization of assessments of all real and personal property within the city
subiect to taxation in accordance with the provisions of law; and the members of said
board. are to receive for their services the amount of compensation fixed by ordinance.

' Commissioner Hornshv offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Davis, that the
Foard of Commissioners approve the transfer from Georre F. Runre, Jr. and wife, Nina

Section No. 1`, in Oak Grove Cemetery, and that the City Clerk be authorized to make

reports of the Paducah Water Works he received and filed, and that the following checks
be turned over to the Citv Treasurer to be deposited in the proper accounts:

a Resolution entitled "A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A TEN YEAR HOUSING CODE COMPLIANCE

Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Davis, that an
ordinance entitled: "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO E14TER INTO A
CONTRACT WITH SUNRAY DX OIL COMPANY FOR THE PURCHASE OF ALL REGULAR AND ETHYL GASOLINE
MOTOR OIL, DIESEL FUEL, CHASSIS LUBRICANT, GEAR LUBE OIL, HYDRAULIC OIL, KEROSENE
AND ANTI -FREEZE FOR USE BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, FOR THE PERIOD OF TIME FROM•?
JANUARY 1, 1966 TO JUNE 30, 1966, AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UPON WHICH
SUCH PURCHASES SHALL BE MADE", he introduced and remain on file for at least one (1)
week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its
