At a Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Ch
of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.M. on August 24, 1965, Mayor Wilson
presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners
Davis, Hornsrv, F,ressenberr, Parrott and Mayor Wilson (5).
Mayor Wilson offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Davis, that the reading,
of the Minutes for Aurust 10th and 17th, 196r, be waived and that the Minutes of said
meeting prepared by the Citv Clerk he approved'as written. Adopted on call of the
Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Hornsby, Kressenberr_, Partott and Mayor Wilson (5).
Mayor Wilson'made the following appointment: Pursuant to Section 96.320 of
Kentuckv Revised Statutes, I, Thomas W. Wilson, Mayor of the City of Paducah, Kentucky,
do hereby appoint myself as such Mayor to be an exofficio member of the Commissioners of
Water Works of said City, for a term coinciding with my term of office as Mayor.

Commissioner Davis offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby as follows:
On the recommendation of the City Manager, I move that the following personnel changes
he made:
1. 'William Collins, laborer in the Parks and Recreation Department,
he promoted to maintenance man,at a salary of $1.75 per hour
in Class G. retroactive to Aurust 16, 1965.
2. Robert Diehl, temporary laborer in the Parks & Recreation
Department he emploved as laborer in said department, at a
salary of 4 1.°A per hour, retroactive to Aurust 16, 1965.
3. Norman Malone, temporary laborer in the Parks & Recreation
Department he emploved as laborer in said department, at a
salary of h.51, per hour, retroactive to August 16, 196-.
L. b`.rs, Ruth Dodre he emploved as Clerk -Typist No. 2 in the Finance
Office, effective September 1, 1965, at a salary of $210.00 per
month; at the end of six months $220.00; at the end of twelve
months $230.00, and at the end of eighteen months $240.00; such
employment beinr temporary and no civil service rirbts or other
ri,hts under anv law or ordinance shall be covered by this
emplovment.
5. Tt!at the resignation of Rov C. Utlev as Chainman in the Enrineerinr
Department, effer.tive August 20, 1965, be received, accepted and
filed.

Settlement Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Davis, that the
