At an Adjourned Repular Meetinr of the Board of Commissioners held in the
Commission Chamber of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.M. on August 17, 1965,
I Mayor Wilson presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names:
Commissioners Lavis, Hornsby, Kressenberr and Mayor Wilson (h), Commissioner Parrott
beinr absent (1).
Appoint Civic.{/ Mayor Wilson made the following appointments: Subject to the approval of the
Beautification
Board Board of Commissioners, I herebv appoint the following as members of The Civic Beautifica4on

Beautification
Board that the Board of Commissioners approve the action of Mayor Thomas W. Wilson appointing
members of The Civic Beautification Board, for terms expiring on July 5, 1966. Adopted
on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Hornsby, Kressenberr and Mayor Wilson (4),I

Settle Claim ✓ Commissioner Davis offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the
Jimmy Hutchens
claire of Jimmy Hutchens, 1928 Hendricks, against the Citv in the amount of $47.88 for
damares to his •chicle, by a City refuse truck, on or about Aupust 12, 1965, be allowed;
and that the Treasurer pay said claim after securinr a full and complete release. Adopted

Rescind motion j' Commissioner Kressenberp offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that
Retail Merchants
Circus the motion adopted June 30, 1961, by the Board of Commissioners, prantinp permission to
the Retail Merchants Association of Paducah, to have a free circus on Broadway between

2nd Street and 6th Street during the week of Aupust 22, 1965, be and the same is hereby
repealed and rescinded. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Hornsb ,
Kressenberr, and Mayor Wilson (4).

IN ORDER (A) TO DEFRAY THE COST (NOT OTHERWISE PROVIDED) OF CONSTRUCTING CERTAIN EXTEN-
SIONS, IMPROVEMENTS, ADDITIONS AND ENLARGEMENTS TO THE MUNICIPALLY OWNED WATER WORKS OF
SAID CITY, WITH ALL EXPENSES IN CONNECTION THEREWITH, AND (b) TO REFUND AT A LOWER NET
INTEREST COST CERTAIN PREVIOUSLY ISSUED AND OUTSTANDING BONDS WHICH ARE PAYABLE FROM THE
REVENUES OF SAID r4UNICIPAL WATER WORKS; PROVIDING FOR SEGREGATING, INVESTING AND SECURING,
