At a Regular 14eetinr of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamb
of the City Fall, Faducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.R', on July 27, 19(-5, idayor Wilson preside
and upon call of the Roll the followinr answered to their names: Commissioners Davis,
Hornshv, Kressenherg, Parrott and h`avor Wilson (5).
Favor Nilson offered motion, seconded by Commissioner ffornshv, that the reading
of the Minutes forJuly 13 and 20, 1961 he waived and that the Minutes of said meetings
prepared h.v the Citv Clerk he approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll,
Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Hornshv, Kressenherr, Parrott and Mayor Wilson (5).
Commissioner Davis offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsbvy that the
claim of Pearl Cooley, 1106 Aavfield Road, arainst the City for damages sustained by 1:e'
he reason of an alleged defective sidewalk condition on North 6th Street, on June 12,
19(l, he compromised in the amount of 564.3P; and that the Treasurer pav said amount
to her after serurinr a full and complete release. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas,
Commissioners Davis, Horns'.v, Kressenherr, Parrott and Ma -or Wilson (5).
Commissioner Davis offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the
executed cop,, of the Contract of Julv 20, 196x, between the City of Paducah, the Greater
Paducah Industrial Development Association, Inc and Reliance Diecastinp, Company, relaLinT
to property of Pir Burlev Realtv, Inc. be received and filed. Adopted on call of the
Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Hornsby, Kressenherr, Parrott and Mavor Wilson (5).
Commissioner Davis offered the followinf motion, seconded fv Commissioner Hornsby:
I move that the Certificate of Insurance issued by United States Fidelity and Guaranty
Companv to Reliable Advertising Companv, coverinr advertising 1,enches placed on the
sidewalks in the Citv of Faducah, for a period of one vear from July 1.3, 1965, be
recei^ed, appro+•ed and filed. Fowever, the receiving, approving and filing of such
Certificate of Insurance shall not ser -e in anv manner to extend the term of the
Contract of said Reliable Advertising Companv with the City, which expires on December

the rerformance Bond of Emulsified Asphalt Company in the amount of $2,500.00, he
recei-'ed, approved and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners

Commissioner Kressenterr offered motion, seconded ?,v Commissioner Parrott, that
following bids for installation of a lift station, in the City Hall he received and
filed:

Commissioner Parrott offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Kressenberr, that
the claim of 1'el Sanders, 3910 Sunset, arainst the City for damares sustained to his
automobile on or about February 2(, 196°, at 2910 Sunset, by a street Trader of the Citi,
be compromised in the amount of $70.31:; and that the Treasurer pav said amount to him a ter
securing a full and complete release. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissione s

the Foard of Commissioners approve the sale by the City of Paducah to Thomas Boyd of the
northwest corner of Lot 1;o. 383 in Block Ido. (. of the Rushinr Addition to Oak Grove Ceml-
ter-, Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Hornsbv, Kressenberr,
Farrott and 1.1vor Wilson (5).

follows: in connection with the proposed issuance of revenue bonds for the purchase of

Commissioner Parrott offered motion, seconded by Commissioner KressenberF, that an
ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ACQUISITION BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY, OF A BUILDING SUITABLE FOR USE AND OCCUPANCY FOR INDUSTRIAL PURPOSES, INCLUDIN
APPURTENANCES THERETO AND OF THE SITE UPON WHICH SUCH BUILDING IS LOCATED, IN ORDER
THAT SAID CITY :MAY RE PROVIDED WITH FACILITIES FOR INDUCING INCREASED PRIVATE INDUSTRY
IN THE COMMNNITY AS A MEANS OF AVOIDING AND CONSEQUENCES OF UNEMPLOYLzENT AND TO FROMOTE
THE BENERAL WELFARE OF SAID CITY, AUTHORIZING AND PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF INDUSTHI
BUILDING REVENUE BONDS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH WHICH 111ILL BE PAYABLE SOLELY AND ONLY
FROM REVENUES AND RENTAL INCOME FROM SAID INDUSTRIAL BUILDING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECU-I
TION OF A CONTRACT OF LEASE AND RENT WHEREBY SAID BUILDING .TILL PRODUCE REVENUES AND
RENTAL INCO?,T; SUFFICIENT TO PAY THE INTEREST ON AND PRINCIPAL OF SAID REVENUE BONDS AS I

resolution be adopted: "BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY CLERK IS HEREBY AUTHORIZED
AND DIRECTED TO HAVE PUBLISHED ACCORDING TO LAW A NOTICE OF BOND SALE AND THAT THERE
BE DISTRIBUTED TO PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS FURTHER INFORMATION AS TO SALE OF BONDS AND BID
FORMS IN THE SA11Z FORMS AS ATTACHED TO THE MINUTES OF THE hMETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS ADOPTED." Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis,
