Proceedings of Board of Commissioners City of Paducah May 24,, 1965
At a Called t{eetinr of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber
of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30P,M. on May 24, 1965, Mayor Wilson presided
and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners Davis,
Hornsby, Kressenberg, Parrott and Mayor Wilson (5),
Mayor Wilson offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Davis, that the executed
copies of the Notice of Called Meetinr to be held at 7:30 o'clock P.M. on May 24, 1965,
be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis,
Hornsby, Kressenberr, Parrott and Mayor Wilson (5).
Liability Ins' CommissionerDavis offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the
Ray Black & Son
Certificate of Insurance issued by The Fidelity and Casualty Company of New York to
Ray Black 8• William R. Black, d/b/a Ray Black & Son and the City of Paducah, Kentucky,
for a period of one year from April 15, 1965, be received, approved and filed. Adopted
on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Hornsby, Kressenbera, Parrott and

Company for sale to the City of its requirements of liquid asphalt for 1965, be received

& Recreation( follows: Upon the recommendation of Art Seelye, Director of Parks and Recreation
Department, I move that Joe Pat Oakley be employed as Playground supervisor in said
;I Department, at the rate of $1.25 per hour as'provided for under Class C of Section lA
of the "PARKS & RECREATION" Ordinance added thereto by this Board on May 11, 1965; said
employment being only seasonal, and to acquire no vacation, sick leave or other fringe
venefits; and such employment being effective as of June 1, 1965. Adopted on call of
