At a Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber
or the City Hall, Paducah, Kentuckv,.at 7:30 P.M. on March 23, 1965, Mayor :Nilson pre-
sided and upon call of the Roll the following ansvrered to their names: Commissioners
Davis, Hornsby, Parrott and Mayor (Nilson (4), Commissioner Kressenbert• being absent (1)
Yavor Wilson offered motion that the reading of the Minutes for March 9, 12 and
16, 1965 be waived and that the Minutes of said meeting's prepared by the City Clerk be
approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Hornsby,
Parrott and.Mayor Wilson (h).
Mayor Wilson made the following appointment: Subject to the approval of the
of Commissioners, I hereby appoint B. Cowles Mallory as a member of the Electric Plant
Board of the City of Paducah,.Kentucky, effective upon his qualifying as City Manager
of the City and as such Electric Plant Board Member according to law.
Commissioner Davis offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the
action of Mayor Thomas W. Wilson in appointing B. Cowles Mallory asa member of the
Electric Plant Board of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be approved. Adopted on call
of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Hornsby, Parrott and Mayor Wilson (4).
Commissioner Davis offered motion that the following bids on panel trucks for usel
as Paddy Wagons in the Police Department, be received and filed:

Commissioner Davis offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, as follows:
I move that the letter from First Baptist Church requesting a street light at the
southern end of Keiler Street one block south of Broadway, adjacent to Keiler Park, be
received and filed.
I further move that the City Manager instruct the Police Department to make an
investigation as to the need of this light and to submit their report as soon as possibl .
I also move that it such report discloses the need for said light, the City Manan�r
authorize the Paducah Power System to install same. Adopted on call. of the Roll, Yeas,
Commissioners Davis, Hornsby, Parrott and Mayor Wilson

FOR THE YEAR 1965 (AN AMOUNT EQUAL TO APPROXIMATELY 150,000 - 200,000 GALLONS) TO BE
USED IN STREET CONSTRUCTION AND REPAIR WORK", be adopted. Adopted on call of the
