At an Adiourned Repular Meetinr of the Board of Commissioners held in the
Commission Chamber of the City Hall, Paducah,'Kentuckv, at 5:10 P.M. on March 12, 1965,

Commissioner Davis offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the

Enpineerinp Department, Public Works Department and Corporation Counsel of the City of
Corp. Counsel

(re, and they are hereby directed and instructed to cause the initial step of
the sanitary sewer construction in Area No. 2 as set out in Table B of the Burns &
McDonnell Report of February 17, 1965, be commenced as soon as possible. Adopted on

a laborer in the Public Works Department, be,promoted to the position of truck driver
therein, effective March 16, 1965; said person continuine under the provisions of the

Commissioner Parrott offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the
claim of Jimmy Crair, 1519 Harrison Street, arainst the City for alleged damares caused
his vehicle by a vehicle of the Public Works Department, on February 26, 1965, near 4th
and Jefferson, in the amount of $56.50 be allowed; and that the Treasurer pay said
claim after securing a full and complete release. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas,

follows:. I move that an ordinance entitled: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY, PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF SPECIAL OBLIGATION BONDS (SCHOOL BUILDING
REVENUE BONDS) IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTIONS 162.120 THROUGH 162.290 AND SECTIONS
58.010 THROUGH 58.11,0 OF KENTUCKY REVISED STATUTES, TO PROVIDE FUNDS FOR SCHOOL
IBUILDING PURPOSES, PROVIDING AND DETERMINING THE DUTY OF SAID CITY IN CONNECTION
I WITH THE OPERATION OF THE SCHOOL PROPERTIES AND THE CREATION OF FUNDS SUFFICIENT TO

PAY THE PRINCIPAL OF AND INTEREST ON SAID REVENUE BONDS AS AND WHEN THEY MATURE AND THE
CREATION OF AN ADEQUATE MAINTENANCE AND INSURANCE FUND, AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
OF.A LEASE OF SUCH FOREGOING PROPERTIES TO THE BOARD OF EDUCATION", be adopted.
