Wilson presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names:
Commissioners Davis, Hornsby, Kressenberp, Parrott and Mayor Wilson (5).
Mayor Wilson offered motion that reading of the Minutes for February 9, 12, 16,
and March 5, 1965 be waived and that the Minutes of said meeting prepared by the City
Clerk be approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners
Davis, Hornsby, Kressenherr, Parrott and Mayor Wilson (5).
Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Davis as follows:
Upon recommendation of Art Seelye, Director of Parks and Recreation, I move that
Kenneth Crawford be emploved part time as Summer Recreation Supervisor in said depart-
ment at $100.00 per month, retroactive to March 1, 1965, and unless chanced by subsequ nt
action of this Board such employment shall be full time effective June 1, 1965 at a
salary of $220.00 per month, such employment not being_ under civil service. Adopted
call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Hornsby, Kressenberp, Parrott and Mayor
Wilson (5).
Commissioner Davis offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby as follows:
I move that a Resolution entitled: "A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE CITY CLERK TO
ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF 35 TO 45 PARKING METERS; PRESCRIBING THE TERMS
AND CONDITIONS OF THE PURCHASE CONTRACT, AND THE MANNER IN WHICH BIDS SHALL BE
SUBMITTED", be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis,
Hornsby and Kressenberp (3), Nays, Commissioner Parrott and Mayor Wilson (2).
Commissioner Davis offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby as follows:
I move that an ordinance entitled: "AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE PARKING OF VEHICLES
ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF WASHINGTON STREET BETWEEN 4TH STREET AND 5TH STREET; THE WEST
SIDE OF LTH STREET BETWEEN WASHINGTON STREET AND CLARK STREET, AND THE NORTH SIDE OF
CLARK STREET BETWEEN LTH STREET AND 5TH STREET; PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION
AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH", be adopted. Adopted on call
of the Roll, Yeas, CommissionersDavis, Hornsby, Kressenberr, (3), Nays, Commissioner
Parrott and Mavor Wilson (2).
Commissioner Kressenberp offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Parrott, tha
an ordinance entitled: "AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE B.ID OF PADUCAH WOODENWARE COMPANY
FOR THE SALE TO THE: CITY OF ONE NEW BATTERY POWERED AUTOMATIC WET AND DRY SCRU13BER
USE FOR CLEANING PURPOSES IN THE NEW CITY HALL, AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIQ!
UPON WHICH SUCH 191RCHASE SHALL. HE MADE", be introduced and remain on file for at least
one (1) week for pui.lic Inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon
