At a Rerular b'.eeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber
of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.M. on December 8, 1964, Mayor Wilson
presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissioner
Davis, Hornsby, Kressenberr and Mayor Wilson (4), Commissioner Parrott being absent (1)
Mayor Wilson offered motion that the reading of the Minutes for November 24, 1964
he waived and that the Minutes prepared by the City Clerk be approved as written.

Upon recommendation of Gene Guoff, Floodwall Superintendent, I move that John Layne be
temporarily employed as a laborer in the Floodwall Department, effective January 1, 1965
at a salary of .x,1.55 per hour. Such employment is temporary and no civil service rights
or other rights under anv law or ordinance shall be covered by this employment. Adopte
