Proceedings of Board of Commissioners city of Paducah September..8, 1964
At a Rerular Meetinr of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah, held in
the Commission Chamber of the City Hall, at 7:30 P.M. on September F., 1964, Mayor Wilson
presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names:Commissioners

Mayor Wilson offered motion that the reading of the Minutes for August 25, 1964
be waived and that the Minutes of said meeting prepared by the City Clerk be approved as

written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Fendley, Hornsby,
Kressenberr and Mayor Milson (5).

Commissioner Davis offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Fendley that copy of
Parks, etc.
Sprinkler Sys
a Resolution adopted by the Four Seasons Garden Club commending_ the Parks, Playground
tem
and Recreation Board of the City of Paducah for the installation and use of the new
sprinkler system in the parkway on 10th Street between Broadway and Kentucky Avenue and
for resuming the operation and use of the sprinkler system previously installed in the
park -way on Jefferson Street, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas

Mayor, statim the residence of each sinner and verified as to signatures and residence:
by the affidavit of one or more persons, was presented to this Board of Commissioners by
and through its Clerk, protesting against the passage of said ordinance, and requesting
that this Board of Commissioners either repeal said ordinance or submit the question of
its passage to the voters of the whole city at a regular election, and

j WHEREAS it is provided in such matters in KRS $9.600 that said ordinance shall be
suspended from going into effect and shall be reconsidered by the Board of Commission
after which it shall be repealed or submitted to the voters of the whole city.
I now therefore move that said ordinance be reconsidered by this Board and that
after such reconsideration if the ordinance is not then repealed, this Board shall
submit to the voters of the city at the next regular election the question as to w;
or not the ordinance shall go into effect. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas,

OF 'SEWER SYSTEM REVENUE BONDS OF 1964' SHALL GO INTO EFFECT: 'AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITI
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, REAFFIRMING DETERMINATIONS PREVIOUSLY MADE THAT A PUBLIC PROJECT
