Commission Chamber of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.h:. on July 21, 1964,
"ager ;Milson presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names:
Commissioners Davis, Fendley, Hornsby, K.ressenberF and Mayor Wilson (5).
Mayor Milson made the following appointment: It appearing that the term of Ray
H. Mullen, Jr. as a member of the City of Paducah Municipal Housing Commission will
expire on July 22, 196L, I hereby, subject to the approval of the Board of Commissioners

of said Citv, reappoint the said Rav H. Mullen, Jr. as a member of such Commission for a
further term of four (4) years expirinr Julv 22, 1968, so that said Commission as noel
constituted shall be composed of the following members:
J. L. Yunal, Jr. whose term expires July 22, 1965
Pierce Lackey whose term expires July 22, 1966
Morris McBride whose term expires July 22, 1967
Ray H. Mullen, Jr. whose term expires July 22, 1968
Thomas 1. Milson, Mayor, ex officio member
Commissioner Fendlev offered motion that the Board of Commissioners approve
1 the action of Thomas W. Wilson, tfayor, reappointing Ray H. Mullen, Jr, as a member of
the Citv of Paducah Municipal Housing Commission for a four (4) gear term expiring
July 22, 19CF. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Fendley,
Hornsh--, Kressenberp and Mavor Wilson (5).
jCommissioner Davis offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Fendlev, as follows
Upon recommendation of Rev Kayse, Director of Public Works, I move that L. C. Chism, a
laborer in the Refuse Division, he advanced to the position of Truck Driver, effective
Aupust 1, 196L, at a salary of $1.52 per hour. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas,
Commissioners Davis, Fendlev, Hornshv, Kressenherg and Mayor Wilson (_),

reports of the Faducah Water Works be received and filed, and that the following checks
to turned over to the Citv Treasurer to he deposited in the proper accounts:

Sewer Service Chanes for June, 1964 10,009.50
Tod Refuse accounts collected during Jure 22.00

the Certificate of Insurance issued by the United States Fidelity and Guaranty Company
to the City of Paducah covering work done by E. D. Hannan for a period of one year from
Jule 31, 1964, be received, approved and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas,
Commissioners Davis, Fendlev, Hornsby, Kressenberr and Mavor Wilson (5),

that the Contract between the City of Paducah, Kentucky and Delta Refining Company
dated June 25, 1964, together with a performance bond in the amount of $2,500.00, be
received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Fendley,
Hornsby, Eressenberg and Mayor 14ilson (5),

Commissioner Fendley offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Davis, that an
ordinance entitled: "AN ORDINANCE A1 -:ENDING SECTION 1 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED:' 'AN
ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE NUMBER, RANFS AND MONTHLY SALARIES OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT
AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH', WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF
COMMISSIONERS ON AUGUST 5, 1952, AND AI -ENDED ON APRIL 2, 1963", be adopted. Adopted
