presided and upon call of the Roll the £ollowinr answered to their names: Commissioners

Water main on V
Commissioner Hornsby offered the following motion which was seconded by Commissic
i.arrie Street
er Kressenberr: It appears from a letter dated May 20, 1964, filed by the Commissioner
of Nater Works that they recommend the installation of 263 feet of 6 inch water main
and 1 fire hvdrant alone Margie Street from Bridge Street in a northerly direction to
hsupply
domestic water and fire protection in this area.
I,therefore, move that the letter of the Commissioners of Water Works be received
and filed and that the Paducah Water Works, through its Board of Commissioners, be
authorized to install the water main and fire hydrant as requested.
I further move that the adoption of this resolution be considered an agreement
on the part of the City of Paducah to pay the fire hydrant and main rental, as provided
in the franchise, on the water main and fire hydrant referred to in the letter of the
Commissioners of Water Works, said rental to begin when said main and fire hydrant
have been installed and placed in service. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas,
Commissioners Davis, Hornsby, Kressenberg and Mayor Wilson (6).
