and upon call of the Roll the following answ4red to their names: Commissioners Davis,
Fendley, Hornsby, Kressenberg and Mayor Wilson (5).
Payor Wilson offered motion that the Notices of Called Meeting to be held at 7:30
P.M. or. March 9, 1964, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas,
Commissioners Davis, Fendley, Hornsby, Kressenberg and Mayor Wilson (5).

Fendlev. It appearing that L. B. Mason, an Assistant Chief in the Fire Department of
the City of Faducah, who is scheduled for retirement from said department on March 31,
1964, under the terms and provisions of an ordinance adopted by the Board of Commission-
ers of said City on Parch 13, 1962, has requested, by letter, that his employment as suc
be continued, and that such continuation has,been recommended by letter of Ed Turner, I
:rove that this Board declare that a continuation of such employment will be for the best
interest of the City, and that such employment be continued until mid -night on the 31st

day of March, 1965, unless terminated prior to such time by operation of law.
I further move that said letters be received and filed. Adopted on call of the

Police report f Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Kressenberg, that the
February 1961
report of the Police Department for the month of February, 1964, be received and filed.
Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Fendley, Hornsby, Kressenberg
and Mayor Wilson (5).
Settlement of Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Kressenberg, that the
claim of Mrs.
.am. Monroe claim of Mss. William Monroe (Fisher Road, Paducah, Kentucly) against the City in the
sum of $69.25 for damages suffered by her as a resolt of an alleged defective street
condition on South 5th Street, between Clark and Adams Street, on or about September 27,
1963 be allowed, and that the Treasurer pay said claim after securing a full and complet
release. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Fendley, Hornsby,
Kressenberg and Mayor Wilson (5).
Resolution Elec., Commissioner Kressenberg offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that a
Plant Board
Rate Schedule copy of a Resolution adopted by the Electric Plant Board of the City of Paducah, Kentuck
on February 26, 196L, amending Part B of the Rate Schedule OLB adopted on December 12,
1962, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis,
Fendlev, Hornsby, Kressenberg and Mavor Wilson (5).

certain Lease executed by Paducah Airport Corporation and L. V. Moyers, d/b/a Ohio
