At a Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber
of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.M. on June 12, 1962, Mayor Pro Tem Gholson
presided in the absence of Mayor Cherry and upon call of the Roll the following answered
to their names: Commissioners Fendley, Hornsby and Mayor Pro Tem Gholson, Commissioner
Karnes and Mayor Cherry being absent (2)
Mayor Pro Tem Gholson offered motion that the reading of the Minutes for May 22
and 29, 1962 be waived and that the Minutes of said meeting prepared by the City Clerk
i be approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fendley,
Hornsby and Mayor Pro Tem Gholson (3).

Commissioner Hornsby offered the following motion: Upon recommendation of Hubert
Grimmer, Superintendent of Parks, I move that Mrs. P. H. Center be temporarily employed
as Cashier for Noble Park Pool, at a salary of $140.00 per month, retroactive to June $,
1962. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fendley, Hornsby and Mayor Pro

Park, retroactive to June 1, 1962, at a salary of $100.00 per month. Such employment
is temporary and no civil service rights or other rights under any law or ordinance shall

SHALL BE MADE", be introduced and remain on file for at least one (1) week for
public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final
passage. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fendley, Hornsby and
