At a Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission
Chamber of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.M. on I•Iarch 24, 1959, Mayor
presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissi
Fairhurst, Fendley, Gholson, Hook and Mayor Jacobs (5).
Mayor Jacobs offered motion that the reading of the Minutes for I -larch 10th
17th, 1959 be waived and that the Minutes of said meetings as prepared by the City Cler
be approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fairhurst,
Fendley, Gholson, Hook and Mayor Jacobs (5).

outside the Corporate Limits of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be received and filed and
that the request in said petition be granted in accordance with the terms and condition:

No. 6 in Block No. 8 of the Rushing Addition to Oak Grove Cdemetery, and that the City

Commissioner Hook offered motion that the reports of the Paducah :•later Works
be received and filed and that the following checks be turned over to the City
to be deposited in the proper accounts:
Sewer Service Charges for February, 1959 a9, 510.50
Refuse Collections for February, 1959 91669.00
Bad Refuse accounts collected during February 4.00

Commissioner Hook offered motion that an ordinance entitled: "AN ORDINAUCE
PROPOSING ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY LYING ADJACENT TO THE WEST CORPORATE LII•IITS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY; DEFINIIIG ACCURATELY THE BOUNDARY OF SUCH TERRITORY
TO BE ANDIE:C'sD TO SAID CITY; AND DECLARING THE DESIRABILITY AND NECESSITY OF SUCH
ANNEXATION", be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fairhurst,
Fendley, Gholson, Hook and Mayor Jacobs (5).
On motion the meeting adjourned.
