At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber
of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.M. on -June 21, 1960, Mayor Cherry
presided and upon call of the Roll the follovring answered to their names: Commissiorrts
Davis, Gholson, Hook and Mayor Cherry (4), Commissioner Fendley being absent (1).
Nayor Cherry offered motion that the executed copies of the 'Notice of Called
Meeting to be held at 7:30 P.M. on June 21, 1960, be received and filed. Adopted on
call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Gholson, Hook aha i•iayor Cherry (4).
Commissioner Davis offered motion that the reports of the Paducah nater Jorks
be received and filed, and that the follo:ring checks be turned over to the City Treasui
to be deposited in the proper accounts:
Refuse collections for May, 1960 9,586.10
Sewer Service Charges for 1.1%r, 1960 9,510.00
Bad Refuse accounts collected during Hay 9.20

Commissioner Davis offered motion that the Bond of Lou E. Crolley, dba Crolley
Construction Company in the amount of ,21000.00, dated June 7, 1960, be received,
approved and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Gholson
Hook and Mayor Cherry (4).
Commissioner Gholson offered motion that the Supplemental Report of Burns w
I•IcDonnell, dated June 1, 1960, on the feasibility of purchase of the Kentucky Utilitie
Company under the appraisal figure as determined by the Board of Appraisers, and the
incidental costs necessary to place the plant in operation, be received and filed.

/ Commissioner Gholson offered motion that the liability insurance policy issued
by the Massachusetts Bonding and Insurance Company covering cork done by Lou E.Crolley
Construction Company, for a period of one year from Kay 24, 1960, be received,
approved and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis,
Gholson, Hook and iiayor Cherry (4).
Commissioner Gholson offered motion that the Board of Commissioners approve the
sale by the City of Paducah to Mrs. Morene Beasley of the south west corner of Lot IIo.
14 in Block Pio. 8 of the Rushing Addition to Oak Grove Cemetery, and that the city
Clerk be authorized to execute a deed of conveyance to said cemetery grave. Adopted on
call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Gholson, Hook and Mayor Cherry (4).

Commissioner Hook offered motion that the Board of Commissioners approve the sale
by the City of Paducah to Tlrs. Martha Cross of the south east corner of Lot IIo. 12
in Block ;Io. 8 of the Rushing Addition to Oak Grove Cemetery, and that the city Clerk
be authorized to execute a deed of conveyance to said cemetery grave. Adopted on

Alcoholic Bev the office of Alcoholic Beverage Administrator for the City of Paducah due to the death
of Lucas L. Nichol, former Administrator, on June 11, 1960;
I now therefore move that Raleigh L. Brockman, City I -Tanager, be, and he is
hereby, appointed as such Alcoholic Beverage Administrator until the appointment and
employment of a successor to the said Lucas L. Nichol, and further move that such
appointment be effective retroactively to Jume 13, 1960. Adopted on call of the Roll,
