At a Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission
Chamber of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P,M- on June 22, 1954, Mayor Cherry
presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners
Hannin, Hughes, Jacobs, Riggs and Mayor Cherry (5).
Mayor Cherry offered motion that the reading of the Minutes for June 8 and June 16, 1954
be waived and that the Minutes of said meeting as prepared by the City Clerk be approved
as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hannin, Hughes, Jacobs,
Riggs and Mayor Cherry (5) .
Rater line 1) Commissioner Hannin offered motion that the petition of Carl L. Dunlap and wife,

Alma Lee Dunlap, for permission to make one 3/4 inch connection to the privately owned
water pipe line located on i•Iinnich Avenue for the purpose of furnishing water to one
residence only to be built upon property now owned by petitioners and fronting 183 feet
on Minnich Avenue in McCracken County, Kentucky, and outside the corporate limits of the
City of Paducah, Kentucky, be received and filed and brat the request petitioned for ther
be granted subject to the terms and conditions in said petition. Adopted on call of the

Road and located in McCracken County, outside the corporate limits of the City of Paducah
Kentucky, be received and filed, and that the request petitioned for therein be granted,

Police Commiszioner Jacobs offered motion that the petition from the Police Department

construction of the new Paducah High school building, be received and filed. Adopted on

Presley -Hasp
in the amount of M5,456.70 for services rendered by Presley Plumbing & Heating Company,
also the letter from the Paducah Municipal Hospital Commission by its Chairman, approving
the payment of said account, be received and filed, and that payment thereof be approved
and the City Treasurer be directed to pay same from funds in the Riverside Hospital
Building Account. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hannih, Hughes,
Jacobs, Riggs and Mayor Cherry (5).
Refuse account Commissioner Jacobs offered the following motion: I move that the SETTLEMYENT:

April 1954 be received and filed, and that the check in the amount of ;-'10,41$.60 be turned over to
the City Treasurer to be deposited in the General Fund.
I further move that the corrected statement .for April 1954, showing overpayment
to the City on April ^ccount in the amount of 01000.00 be received and filed. Adopted on

Planning and Zoning Commission on June 16, 1954 recommending that the Board of Comm-
issioners undertake annexation proceedings with respect to the red shaded areas shown on
