At a Regular i:eoting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission
Chamber of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.I-1. on July 22, 1958, Mayor Jacob
presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissioner
Fairhurst, Fendley, Gholson, Hook and Mayor Jacobs (5).
Payer Jacobs offered motion that the reading of the Minutes for July 8, 195

File ContractCommissioner Fairhurst offered motion that the Contract between the City

Federal Aid Commissioner Fendley offered motion fiat this Commission ratify the action

Control Act of 1956 in the amount of ;2,229.00 which represents 30;5 of the total cost
of a project consisting of the construction of a grit collector for the sewage treatment
and disposal plant of the City of Paducah. Adopted on call of he Roll, Yeas,

City of Paducah and the+D-7C Sunray Oil Company, for the furnishing of gasoline, motor
oil, etc for the period from July 1, 1958 through December 31, 1958, be received and
filed. Adopted on call of the roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fairhurst, Fendley, Gholson,I
Hook and Mayor Jacobs (5).
Bad refuse Commissioner Gholson offered motion that the check from Paducah ;Mater Works
accounts
June 1958 in the amount of 6.40 for bad refuse accounts collected during June 1958 be turned

as such patrolman for the period of sixty (60) calendar days beginning July .16, 1955
without compensation or other benefits, be received and filed; I further move that such
request be granted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fairhurst,

Commissioner Hook offered motion that the liability insurance policy issued by
the United States Fidelity and Guaranty Company covering work done by Roscoe Burgess for
a period of one year from July 9, 1955, be received, approved and filed. Adopted oncall of
the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fairhurst, Fendley, Gholson, Hook and I•iayor Jacobs (5).
