At a legular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission
Chamber of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 8:30 A.M. on May 10, 1958, Mayor Jacob
presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners
Fairhurst, Fendley, Gholson, Hook and Mayor Jacobs (5).
Mavor Jacobs offered motion that the reading of the Minutes for April 26,
1958 be waived and that the Minutes of said meeting as prepared by the City Clerk be
approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fairhurst,
Fendley, Gholson, Hook and Mayor Jacobs (5).
Street Lightsz/ Commissioner Gholson offered the following motion: I move that the petition

signed by Mr. and Mrs. 19. E. Lawson and others, requesting the installation of additio�
nal street lights on Koerner Street, together with the recommendations of the police
department that two additional lights be installed in front of 819 Koerner and across the
street from 711 Koerner, be received and filed; I further move that the City Manager
be authorized to request installation of said lights by the Kentucky Utilities Company!

I move that a hearing of said charges be held on I -lay 14, 1958 at the hour of
7:30 P.M. in the Commission Chamber at the City Hall in Paducah, Kentucky, and that the
City Clerk immediately notify the said R. E. (Willie) Yfilliams of the charges against
him, and the date, time and place of said hearing by having a true copy of said charges
served upon him, together with a notice of the date, time and place of said hearing.

real estate owned by the estate of T. A. Harris for the purpose of collecting an account

the city join in the action now pending in the McCracken Circuit Court in the name of
the cospital Trustees.
I further move that the Corporation Counsel be, and he is hereby, authorized j
