be waived and that the :inutes of said meeting as prepared by the City Clerk be approve

water to one residence only upon a lot fronting 75 feet on the south side of Rutter
Street in McCracken County, Kentucky, and outside the corporate limits of the City of
Paducah, Kentucky, be received and filed and that the request petitioned for therein
be granted subject to the terms and conditions in said petition. Adopted on call of
the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, Lally, McBride, Trevathan and mayor Jacobs (5).

s Commissioner Clark offered motion that the Board of Commissioners receive, fil:.
and approve liability policy issued by the Indemnity Insurance Company to the City or
Paducah covering work done by Edgar Stephens Construction Company for a period of one
year from September 15, 1957; also Certificate of Insurance issued by The Fidelity and
Casualty Company of New York to W. T. �lilkinson and the City of Paducah, Kentucky for a
period of one year from September 14, 1957. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas,
Commissioners Clark, Lally, McBride, Trevathan and Nayor Jacobs (5).
Commissioner Clark offered the following motion: I move that the Agreement
entered into the 6th day of September, 1957, by and between Paducah Water 'Yorks, party
of the first part, and Harry D. Abell and wife; Burton A. :Mashburn and wife; Leon Higdon
and wife; Gressham Houghland and wife, parties of the second part, supplementing an agro,
went entered into by said parties on September 9, 1952, relative to the construction
of a six inch cast iron water main from a point in the intersection of North Central
Avenue and 41st Street, thence to the properties of second parties located on Pines Road
in "cCracken County, Kentucky, be received and filed and that said supplemental agreemen
be approved in accordance with the terms set forth therein. Adopted on call of the
Roll, Yeas Commissioners Clark, Lally, McBride, Trevathan and Pdayor Jacobs (5).
Commissioner Lally offered the following motion: Dr. Raymond Roof and Rev.
Cameron Meacham having resigned as members of the Board of Trustees of the Public Librar
I therefore move that August J. Legeay be appointed a member of said board to serve
during the unexpired term of Dr.. Raymond Roof, and that Rev, W. B. Casey be appointed
to serve on said board during the unexpired term of Rev. Cameron iQeacham, so that said
Board as now constituted shall be composed of the following members:
Lula Reed King whose term expires June 14, 19513
August J. Legcay whose term expires June 14, 1958
David Fine whose term expires June 14, 1959

Uor=:s as approved by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah. I therefore move
that the application of Albert Karnes be accepted and approved and that the Board of
Cor-,-issioners of the Paducah Mater Works be authorized to execute the agreement for the
laying of said extension and that the Board of Paducah Jater Works be authorized to lay
a six inch main along North 21st Street beginning at existing main on Park Avenue and
extend in a northerly direction to the south side of Kruger Street, a distance of
approximately 1148 feet.
I further move that the adoption of this resolution and the granting of the
request contained in said application be considered as an agreement on the part of the
City of Paducah to pay the fire hydrant and crater main rental, as provided in the franchi
on the pipe line referred to in the petition and in this motion. Said rental to begin
when said water main has been laid and water provided for on the street above referred to

Commissioner Trevathan offered the following motion: Charles A. 'lilliams having
resigned as a member of the City of Paducah Municipal Hospital Commission,- I move that
Dwain H. Lowry be appointed a member of said Commission to serve during the unexpired
term of the said Charles A. Williams, so that said Board as now constituted shall be
composed of the following members:
