At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber
of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.M. on July 2, 1957, Mayor Jacobs pre-
sided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners
Clark, Lally, McBride and Mayor Jacobs (4), Commissioner Trevathan was absent when the
meeting was called to order.
Mayor Jacobs offered motion that the copies of the Notice of Called Meeting to
be held at 7:30 P.M. on July 2, 1957, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the
Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, Lally, McBride and Mayor Jacobs (4).
Commissioner McBride offered the following motion: I move that the claim of
Paxton Park Golf Commission in the sum of ?166.20 for damages caused to a truck owned
by the Commission by a truck owned and operated by the City of Paducah, on June 12, 1951
at the First and "roadway Riverfront, be allowed, and that the City Treasurer be and he
is hereby authorized and directed to pay said sum to the Paxton Park Golf Commission,
after securing a full and complete release, and shall charge same to Account- 11,00.
Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, Lally, McBride and Mayor Jacobs
(4).
Commissioner Clark offered motion that a Resolution entitled: "A RESOLUTIOP!
DISCLAIMING ANY POSSIBLE GRANT OR DEDICATION TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, FOR A
PORTION OF A STREET PURPORTED TO BE LOUISE STREET, AS EXTENDED, WHICH PORTION OF SUCH
PURPORTED STREET LIES VTITHIN THE BOUNDARY OF A TRACT OF LAND CONVEYED TO ROBERT C.
CHERRY BY DEED OF RECORD IN DEED BOOK 324, PAGE 321 IPI THE MCCRACKEN COUNTY COURT CLERK'
OFFICE; AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUIT -CLAIM
DEED FOR SUCH PROPERTY TO ROBERT C. CHERRY", be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll

for the City of Paducah on June 25, 1957 be affirmed and ratified as of said date and
that said person be paid for such work the amount of .212.00 per month. Adopted on
