At a Regular I.•eeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission
Chamber of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.1•1. on Larch 16, 1954, Mayor
Cherry presided and upon call of the doll the following answered to their names:
Commissioners Hannin, Hughes, Jacobs, Riggs and Mayor Cherry (5).
I•ayor Cherry offered motion that the reading of the Minutes for March 9, 195
be waived and that the i•linutes of said meeting as prepared by the City Clerk be approve
as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hannin, Hughes, Jacobs
Riggs and Alayor Cherry (5)•
ater line- Commissioner Hannin offered motion that the petition of Marion Goad and wife,

Goad Doris Goad, for permission to make four 3/4 inch connections to the privately owned
water pipe line of the Husbands Road Community Water Company for the purpose of furnish'
water to four residences only upon property ocmed by petitioners fronting 3 00 feet on
the west side of Husbands Road in McCracken County, Kentucky, be received and filed and
that the request petitioned for therein be granted subject to the terms and conditions
in said petition. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hannin, Hughes,
Jacobs, Riggs and Mayor Cherry (5)

owned crater pipe line along and under the Husbands Road for the purpose of furnishing
water to one residence only upon lot owned by petitioners fronting 93 feet on the west
side of Husbands Road in McCracken County, Kentucky, be received and filed and that the
request petitioned for therein be granted subject to the terms and conditions in said
petition. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hannin, Hughes, Jacobs,
Riggs and Mayor Cherry (5) .

Letter Adrian / Mayor Cherry offered motion that the Board of Commissioners receive and file

K.U. Case ' the letter of Adrian H. Terrell concerning the status of the proceedings to acquire
!i the electric utilities system of the Kentucky Utilities Company in the actions of City

of Paducah, et al. vs. Kentucky Utilities Company, et al. and Rudy Pierce, Clerk of the
McCracken County Court, et al. vs. R. S. Gregory, et al., together with the opinion of
the Court of Appeals in said actions, the motion filed by the City of Paducah for exten-
sion of the opinion, and the order overruling the motion for extension of the opinion.

one (1) week in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage.
