Commissioner Gangnath was absent when the meeting was called to order. Mayor Jacobs offeredmotion that the reading of the Minutes for April 10th and April 17th, 1956 be waived and that the Minutes of said meetings as prepared by the City Clerk be approved as written. Letter JachsCommissioner Trevathan offered motion that a letter from the Andrea Jackson School t/ Reassessment Faculty, addressed to Mayor George Jacobs and the Board of Commissioners, dated April 20, 1956, endorsing a program of reassessment of property for tax purposes, be received and filed.
