Commissioner Clark offered motion that the letter from Cornell Homes Corporatio;
by Joe C. Marshall, President, dated January 30, 1956, relative to the opening of 25th
Street, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners
Clark, Gan3nath, ticBride, Trevathan and Layer Jacobs (5).
Commissioner Gangnath offered the following motion: I move that the claim
of .•xs. C. E. Johnson for expenses incurred by her in the sum of x187.00 as a result
of an accident caused by a defect in the sidewalk on the south side of Broadway
between 4th and 5th Streets on or about January 19, 1956, be approved and that the
City Treasurer be and he is hereby directed f,.. authorized to issue a check in said
amount to her after obtaining a full and complete release. Adopted on call of the
Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, Gangnath, i-icBride, Trevathan and mayor Jacobs (5)
