Chamber of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 4:00 P.l. on Karch 4, 1955s Kayor
Cherry prosided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names:
Commissioners Hannin, Hughes, Jacobs, Riggs and hayor Cherry (5).
Commissioner Hannin offered motion that the report of the Board of Equalization
for the year 1955 be received, filed and spread upon the Minutes. Adopted on call of
the ioll, Yeas, Commissioners Hannin, Hughes, Jacobs, Riggs and Nayor Cherry (5).

Camuissioner Hughes offered the .Collowing motion. I move that the Board
of Commissioners appoint iIr. Lloyd Emery to serve as City 1•anaLor of the City of
Paducah, Kentucky, his appointment to become effective as of mid -night Plarch 60 1955,
and as such to be the executive agent of the tdayor and the 3oard of Commissioners in
the management of the city's affairs; to perform such other duties as may be imposed
upon him under the Statutes of the State of Kentucky and the ordinances of the City
of Paducah; and as such to receive for his services the compensation now provided
for said position by ordinance. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners
Hannin, Hughes, Jacobs, Riggs and ;ayor Cherry (5).
On motion the meeting adjourned.
