At a Called 1.9oating of the Board of Commissioners hold in the Commission Chambor
at the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.M. on August 18, 1950, ;,ayor Johnston
presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commiasionors
Rannin, Jacobs, Sims, Thomas and Mayor Johnston (5).
Petition St. Commissioner Sims offered motion that the petition si ned by W.L. Goult and
Cling on "C"
Street " others requesting that "C" Street from Guthrie Avenue to 21st Stroet be oiled due to the

heavy traffic to and from brooks Stadium be received and filed. Adopted on call of the
Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hannin, Jacobs, Sims, Thomas and Mayor Johnston (5).
Reject bids mayor Johnston offered motion that the Board of Commissioners receive and file

Lachine the bids of Burroughs Adding Lachine Company and the National Cash Register Company for
Finance kept
sale to the City of a bookkeeping machine for use in the Finance Departr¢ent. He further
I{ moved that both of said bids be rejected and that the City MAnager be authorized to ro-
