Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, k Johnston and Sayor Pro Tem Jacobs (3). Petition Street 1i1 s Cc.. icsioner Clari: offered motion that the petition signed by i:x. Vaughn w I Ewing, and Thomasson and others requestinZ the installation of street lights at the intersection Vaughn k Fair. of Vaughn and i+winE Streets and Vaugim and P'iain Streets be received and filed. He further roved that the City I•ianager be requested to make an investigation to determino the need for these lights and if same is needed that he instruct the hentucky Utilitie r Company to install same. Commissioner Johnston offered motion that all city employees, except police and firemen be granted a half holiday on each of the days of December 26, 1953 and January 2, 1954, said days beii:g the respective days after Christmas and Ilew Years.
