I:ayor Cherry offered motion that the reading of the Idinutes for Novomber 21,, 1953 be -waived and that ti:e :inutes of said meeting as prepared by the City Clerk be approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, Jacobs, Johnston, i:orrow and :ayor Cherry (5). ;gyor Cherry made the followinS appointment: Tile term of office of George Byrd as a member of the Board of Civil Servi.c Cc:_:ission rs e:piros or. December 9, 1953, I hereby reappoint the said George 3yrd for a period of three (3) years, so that said board as now constituted shall be composed of the folloaiing members: John Ryan ribose term expires on December 9, 1951, i:. E. Fellers whose term expires on December 9, 1955 George Byrd whose term expires on December 9, 1956. Commissioner Jacobs offered motion that the Board of Cormmissioners approve the action of Robert C. Cherry, i-k;yor, reappointing Geor.,e Byrd to serve as a member of the Board of Civil Service Cowaissioners for a further term of three years from December 9, 1953.
