Layer Cherry offered motion that the reading of the i+iinutes for November 17, 1953 be waived and that the Minutes of said meeting as prepared by the City Clerk be approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, Jacobs, Johnston, :sorrow and Mayor Cherry (5). Petition R Commissioner Jacobs offered motion that the petition signed by Mr. & i•:rs. W. R. grade, etc. 30th St :;nitworth and others residing in the vicinity of 30th Street between Georgia Street and G' ssissippi Street, requesting that 30th Street from Georgia Street to i•iississippi Stree be Graded, ditched and graveled be received and referred to the City i•ianager for in- vestigation and report as soon as possible. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, COLimissioners Clark, Jacobs, Johnston, :•:orrow and Mayor Cherry (5). Petition. Commissioner h•:orrow offered motion that the petition signed by Curlee Brown and Beer parlor 6 10 L: Calduell others regarding the operation of a beer pprlor in the building on 10th and Caldwell Streets be received and filed. Grave Rushin4 Commissioner Clark offered motion that the Board of Commissioners approve the Add to Virginia sale by the City of Paducah to Virginia Jenkins of Grave Ito. 117 in Block Pio. 8 of the Jenkins Hushing Addition to Oak Grove Cemetery, and that the City Clerk be authorized to execute a deed of conveyance to said cemetery grave.
