Petition.T�[� Commissioner Clark offered motion that the petition dated July 22, 1953 signed C.S.Chandlex Alley 20-21 by C. S. Chandler and others requesting the opening and improving of an alley from Ky L clash. 20th Street to 21st Street between Kentucky Avenue and Washington Street, be received and referred to the Director of Public Works for investigation, and that he make such investigation and file his report as soon as possible. It appears from the endorsement by the Board of Commissioners of the 'slater 'dorks t at the applicants have complied with all rules and regulations of said Paducah "later Works as approved by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah, I therefore move that N j; the petition of Eula Baker, etc. be accepted and approved and that the Board of yk Commissioners of Paducah Plater I'lorks be authorized to execute the agreement with Irs. Eula Balser for the laying of 60 feet of 6" main and that the Board of Commissioners N of Paducah Water Works be authorized to lay a 61' main along Division Street- from Hughes �I Street to the City Limits, a distance of approximately 260 feet. I further move that the adoption of this resolution and the granting of the reques contained in said application be considered as an agreement on the part of the City of 4 i. Paducah to pay the fire hydrant and water main rental, as provided in the franchise, on I r the pipe lines referred to in the petition and in this motion.
