Mayor Cherry offered motion that the reading of the Minutes for February 17, 1953 be waived. and that the Minutes of said meeting as prepared by the City Clork be approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, Jacobs, Johnston, 14orrow and Mayor Cherry (5). I Street Lights Commissioner Johnston offered motion that the City manager be directed to make "C" Street at 22, 23 & Elm ! an investigation to determine whether or not street lights are needed on "C" Street at its intersection with 22nd street, 23rd street and Elm street. If it is found that said Hstreet lights are needed, he further moved that the City Manager authorize the Kentucky Utilities Company to make such installations. Cemetery Lot Commissioner Clark offered motion that the City of Paducah approve the sale of Oak Grove to E.E.Tyree the East one-half of Lot 8 in Block 2 on Yopp Avenue in the Mausoleum Addition to Oak Grove `emetery to E. E. Tyree for the sum of "160.00. + He further moved that the City Clerl: be authorized to execute a deed of conveyance i 1 to said Cemetery lot. Offered motion that the bids received .for certain unusable equipment in the Street Department be received and filed, together with the attached memorandum dated February 21, 1953 from, L.
